Borsa İstanbul hosts the “Green, Social, and Sustainability Bonds Executive Training” organized in partnership with the International Finance Corporation (IFC), a member of the World Bank Group that focuses on private sector operations, to inspire green bond issuance in developing countries.

As global awareness of climate change and sustainability grows, the Taipei Exchange (TPEx) recognizes its crucial role in promoting responsible investment and a greener future. Therefore, it has multifaceted initiatives for encouraging sustainable development. TPEx published its first third-party assured sustainability report in 2018. The report is updated annually to reflect international standards. In 2022, TPEx established the Sustainable Development Committee to foster sustainable development.

The Amman Stock Exchange (ASE) participated with a number of global stock markets in the "Ring the Bell" initiative to support climate and sustainability initiatives launched by the International Organization of Securities Commissions (IOSCO) and the World Federation of Exchanges (WFE).

The event, organized by Baku Stock Exchange and UN Sustainable Stock Exchanges Initiative, was opened by the speeches of Sean Kidney, CEO of Climate Bonds Initiative, Anthony Miller, Chief Coordinator of UN Sustainable Stock Exchanges Initiative and Ruslan Khalilov, CEO of Baku Stock Exchange.

The Latin American Stock Exchange (Latinex) held the Bell Ringing for the Climate within the framework of COP29 , the United Nations Climate Conference, a global initiative organized by the World Federation of Stock Exchanges (WFE) and promoted by more than 35 stock exchanges around the world.

Jakarta – As a form of commitment to support efforts to prevent climate change, Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) held the Ring the Bell for Climate event on Wednesday (November 20) at the IDX Main Hall. This event is part of the World Federation of Exchanges (WFE) campaign, which coincides with the 29th Conference of the Parties (COP 29) in Baku, Azerbaijan, from November 11–22, 2024. The Ring the Bell for Climate event is a symbolic call and a demonstration of the commitment of global stock exchanges to preventing climate change and supporting sustainability efforts.

In alignment with the World Federation of Exchanges (WFE) 2024 “Ring the Bell for Climate” initiative and Taiwan's 2050 net-zero vision, the Taiwan Stock Exchange (TWSE) is stepping up its commitment to sustainable finance education. From November 18 to 22, TWSE participated in the launch of the ISO 14067 and 14068-1 courses organized by the Taiwan Carbon Exchange. These programs aimed to cultivate carbon management professionals and connect Taiwan to international carbon standards. This initiative strengthens Taiwan’s role in global decarbonization efforts.

KASE held the opening "Ring the Bell for Climate 2024" ceremony as a part of the global initiative by the World Federation of Exchanges. The event brought together local and foreign experts, representing diverse sectors such as finance, environmental organizations, government bodies, and international institutions. This ceremony served as a pivotal platform for addressing critical topics on the climate agenda, environmental sustainability, and KASE's role in advancing the carbon market.
